Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Well folks

Was sitting waiting on a lad the other day when I decided to do some tyre kicking and low and behold my fronts arent far off my hair issue and becoming bald...

Just been offered two Interstate Tyres 215 50 17 for 85 quid a go fitted.

Anybody have any experience of this crowd ? I've never heard of them and their online reviews read well but that could be down to some good tagging on Google.

Aren't they a budget brand?Spend a little bit more and get something decent.

Lad shifting them tells me they are a tad below Dunlop. Basically missing the label so to speak.

A quick google brought up one review for a set of tyres belonging to them
Lowest fuel consumption but the worst wet and poor dry performance

On the same page for the Dunlop set
very balanced tyre, good all round

I put 4 of this brand on a hi ace a few years back price was so good I even got the spare replaced.
drove 5 miles and it started raining
the van was all over the place back wheels spinned trying to move along with the traffic and front slid with slightest touch of brake.
Drove back and got them to put my old tires back on and refund the money.

maybe they have improved but I never never know as I won't trust them again.

    LOL
He must have spotted your username :D

    Seriously.
You could get a set of Hankooks for a little more than that.

    Touche ! :P

Generally, I am appaulled by this market.

    me - "Looking for tyres"

    Seller - "Yeah €50 each"

me - "What brand are they?"

Seller - "I dunno.... Does it matter?"

    me - "Thank you :)"

I must admit, I used to be of the mind set that any old peice of rubber will do..... I've changed that mindset since. It just seems tha Joe Soap wants the lowest price possible irrespective of the consequences
