Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I believe that have to be factory installed, no mechanic will try to retrofit ISOFIX mountings to a car.

I read you can buy for like 20 quid and is easy to install?

Would you really trust yourself to install something that you rely on for the safety of your children?

I wouldn't bother, if you buy a maxi cosi easyfix base it does the same job as an isofix base without the need for the isofix fittings.

Really? Was udner the illusion you needed the mountings to connect the maxi cosi easyfix base?

*Update I see you can lash in the seatbelt. Cheers.

I use that base, we have two cars one with and without ISOfix. It works great on both even though its a bit longer setting up with seat belts.

Ford dealers sell them, once the holes are there on the car they are very simple to fit.

The OP is on about the brackets not the actual holes.

Yeah afaik the focus has the holes ready, you just need to instal the brackets which is a piece of piss. Think they're only 20 quid or something.
