Wash your clothes at 30 degrees they still come out as fresh and clean as they would at a higher degree

Turn off your router when internet not in use. It uses loads of energy.

What takes alot of energy and no one knows , is that even if its not charging any thing, leavin chargers plugged into the wall takes energy. You will save alot by unplugging from the wall aswell as the laptop.

Also, alot of HD / LCD TV's still stay on stand by when turned off , so unplug them too ;)

Turn all electricity off at nighttime.

Did you hear about the foolish gardener?

He planted a light bulb and thought he would get a power plant!

my "light bulb moment" was fitting timers to all convenience appliances like lamps, emersion, central heating etc. saved tons on my bill, happy days.:D

    Will try it ASAP!

    Thanks again.

Use body heat to keep warm on the cold, dark nights of the winter. Ireland will need lots of future tax-payers to fund the excessive pensions of our semi-state workers! :p
