    what i do these days is that if im not using something that dosnt need to be plugged in, i plug it out. cuts tons off your bill.so does wearing lots of coats in the house or setting your sitting room table on fire for heat.

    I was always told it takes less energy keeping flourescent lights on than turning them off and on as needed... I still dont know if thats true or not... ?

    Turn of the light in the fridge while you have it open, total waste! Keep a candle in there instead :cool:

    Get a night rate meter, and you can run your water, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, etc. to come on after 12 midnight, you'll save loooads of mulla :eek:

    Turn off the running tap when brushing your teeth, save running water about a minute a day per person in the household I'm sure it'll add up over the course of a year?
