Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Opel Combo power lag???

    Hey

    I bought a 08 Opel Combo yesterday, its in great condition, but I noticed on the way home after a while it wouldn't go over 3500 revs, in any gear..
    It was fine this morning just driving around town but this evening I brought it out onto the motorway to open it up a bit and the same happen, no budge over 3500!!

    Any ideas??

    It could be several things but does the engine managment light come on when you turn on the ignition and go off when you start the engine?

    Is the engine management light a car with a spanner through it?
    This light came on for a second before it lagged this evening...

    I just googled it, the engine management light is the car with spanner.
    It does come on when I turn on the ignition and goes off when van starts...

    Hope its nothing serious because I bought it privately............

    Sounds like there is an engine management problem, i.e a faulty sensor or part.

    A computer diagnostic test is you next port of call IMO.
