Blonde hair with dark roots - opinion?

    I've noticed a character in Emmerdale with platinum blonde hair and dark roots, but she always has dark roots. Kind of like a Madonna thing from the 80s and I was just wondering what peoples general taste is on this?

    Ah jeebus, debbie's gone blonde? disaster.

    The roots look - I like it on some people and not on others. It works with certain styles.
