Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Trading in a PS2

    ive a PS2 with loads of games.
    has anyone traded in one recently.
    im not sure if there is much point, although a bit of money would be handy..
    im going to bring it into games stop to see wat they offer..
    anyone know where else i should try

    Don't bother as I saw a young person trading in 70 PS3 games and a PS3 console last Saturday, they gave him €79 for it I was shocked. I said it to the manager and he was aghast also but as he said thats the name of the game.

    Stick them up on Adverts.ie in a list and see what you can get for them.

    Since the OP is trading a PS2 I imagine he won't be lucky to get much for it. Several years ago I bought a PS2, brand new, off a guy in Dublin for £30 and he included a few games with it. At that stage the PS3 had just been released (I think it was that week actually) so I imagine PS2's are just worth next to nothing. Shame, some of the games are probably worth more than the console.

    The games still hold there own, GTA Vice city stills looks great and im a sucker for good graphics

    You'll definitely make more by selling the games on adverts, Especially if you'll break them up ,
    Tbh I'd attic the PS2 itself , and sell it on in a few years , you'll get a lot more for it then ;)
