Any tips on parking? I have to drive to the college so what is a good time to get there?

If you're heading in for a 9am lecture, you have to be there really early just to get a place.. like at half 8 cause after that - there's little or no hope!

But, by lunch time, you'll have no probs finding a space.

No of parking places shared out about equally. Notice the shared section for staff and students in the large car park. Be very careful about parking - obey colour coding for sections -parking attendants will be on steroids for the first month - 50 euro fine. I think there is also parking in the rugby grounds beside Flannerys hotel - a few hundred yards walk.

Make sure you park in a proper space ie white line either side of your car, if you see what looks like an empty space at the end of a row even with no yellow lines don't park in it, them clampers are absolutely ruthless.

There's no lines in the rugby place. Is there any specific student spaces or is it all OK except for beside the clubhouse?

Dont know about spaces in Rugby grounds - never used it - but GMIT's parking disc entitles you to park there. Dont park on yellow lines in housing estates around the college - the residents associations will ring the corporation and another army of parking attendants will do you. Get a bus or bike or walk or car pool if at all possible.
