Anyone see that newly filled unit beside the Village Inn, Is it a casino or what? Anyone know anything about it? Can see a stink being kicked up about this if it is !

It's definitely a casino, one of the fellas working on it told my Dad a while ago. I'd say it'll make a killing.

Odd though, since Q's is only down the road.

This is a bit more in your face than q's right in the middle of the village. It will make a killing alright.

Used to a great snooker club. Haven't been in in years. I heard there's not that many snooker tables there now, is that true?

I havent been inside myself in a good while but last time i was, yeh there weremt half the amount of snooker tables they were kinda being fazed out for roulette machines etc.

As for the casino in the village, terrible idea. Takes the look of the village down and is going to cause murder on a Friday and Sat night id imagine.

Just thinking, there's barely any parking around there as it is, how are people meant to park up if they want to go to this casino? It's not 24 hours is it?

no parking unless they go to molloys/wokshop etc but thats for customers of that area only. can go to Tesco/tuthills/steering wheel but have to pay for parking during the hours.

im not sure if its 24's no signs to say so but it does be open anytime i see it... early enough in the day and very late at night.

walking by it and ya do see some lads in tracksuits not looking the best going in and out

I was in on Tuesday, it's no great shakes. It's tiny and just has a few slot machines and video poker. The music is too loud as well.

I still prefer Q's, at least it has a bit of atmosphere.
