Shakespeare for Experienced Actors

Stumped by the Bard? Feel stiff and declamatory? Naturalise your delivery. Act with your whole body. The technical aspects of mining classical texts will be combined with work on actions and intentions, as well as exercises to develop physical presence on stage. Class limited to 6 actors. Mondays, starting 26 Sept., at The Granary Theatre, Mardyke, Cork. 8-10pm. €150 for 12 weeks.

Instructor: Ashley Strand holds an MFA from The Academy for Classical Acting in Washington, DC, and has been acting professionally since 1996, appearing most recently in Spring Awakening at The Granary and soon at the Everyman Palace Theatre.
