Well yes, but there is a certain satisfaction to be gained from actually being able to DIY. Here's an enlarged crop and composite from two photos I just happened to take earlier this morning, before seeing the JWST images and article:

    Another stunning image from Webb...

The heart of the Tarantula Nebula as seen by the Near-Infrared Camera (NIRCam) on the James Webb Space Telescope.

Located 161,000 light years distant in the Large Magellanic Cloud, satellite galaxy to our own Milky Way galaxy nearby, this JWST image taken last month reveals never before seen detail of new star formation in the giant Tarantula Nebula, a giant cloud of dust and gas that is a stellar nursery on a scale that dwarfs any nebulae in our own Milky Way.

A large cluster of supergiant blue stars known as 30 Doradus can be discerned in the centre the image. These newly formed stars are hollowing out the adjacent gas and dust by the pressure of their powerful stellar winds, which are also simultaneously condensing and eroding the nebula to reveal newly formed stars emerging from their dusty cocoons.

Just looking at the new images of the pillars of creation.

Can anyone else see the image of the man pointing?

Almost a red light on the top of his finger.

Yes, the new JWST mid-infrared image of the Pillars of Creation is stunning. The level of detail visible in the dust clouds is superb!

Some of these images are some 13 billion years old. Anybody take a guess at what they look like now? Have the formed galaxies, with stars, planets etc? Like the galaxies which are closer to us?
