Now that Pocock is out, we should REALLY have Jennings in there.

I hope we win tomorrow and everything but we need more than Pocock out to have a chance.

And the hardest thing to swallow tomorrow if we lose is to know that when they're on form this group of players are more than capable of beating the Aussies :(

Jennings to come on after 60 minutes to replace Ferris who has already made 40 tackles and dismembered 3 Aussies. Thereafter O'Brien will be unleashed as a ball carrier at blindside a la Heineken Cup final while Jennings expertly locks down the breakdown and strangles Australia's possession. Job done, cheers Decco. So you do have a masterplan after all.

Oh wait, Jennings isn't in the matchday squad. So that won't happen then.

    Must be true so ;)

To be honest, I'd take a lot of this stuff with a pinch of salt.

I bet they have pics of one of them mid-blink to make it look all the worse.

I think Jennings omission is a bit of an anomaly myself. Now that Pocock is out, he'd be a very handy number to have on the bench. Ah well.

I suppose with 9 Leinster players starting tomorrow, nobody can really accuse Kidney of insane Munster bias. Although missing Jennings and Cullen on the bench could really hurt us. It all depends on whether we end up needing versatility over specialists in their positions. A risky gamble by Kidney. Please God, no early injuries.

Does everyone think it's a genuine injury or do you think Deans is worried risking Pocock getting injured up against the (slightly) more physical SOB, assuming that Australia will probably win anyway? Just a thought.

    Errr, NO...

You forgot the "We only won because of the weather" posts or the "We only lost because a washed up 35 year old number 8 is faster than our entire squad" posts

Although I doubt that we'll get the opportunity to do it but I hope by mid morning here we'll be able to quote a lot of your cocky posts with "you were saying?!!"

    C'mon Ireland!!!!

    Same here :)
Looking at the Saffers and rationalising how we can play as good if not better. I reckon we'll eat the Ozzies in the tight and it will give us a platform to win from!

Yes but we have to cut out those stupid bloody schoolboy errors! That's what's beating us every time.

Anyone else watching a rampant SA ripping Fiji apart, its making finishing top of the group that bit more attractive at the moment...

Talk about pre-match nerves, getting really nervous. Pocock is obviously going to be a loss for the aussies. Surely Ireland have one big performance in them.
Hopefully today is the day that Ireland shows all their detractors what they're made of!
