Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Been thinking about how you would have/need a reference year in an area based payment that's aimed at active farmers. It just didnt make sense. But I have a theory......

    And it's only a theory....

The 2014-2020 payments are going to contain this transitionary payment where a portion of your payment will be proportional to you current SFP, but that portion will decrease each year as the pure area rate increases.

They would need a reference year of current SFP amounts to base that transitional element of the payment on.

It's the only thing that makes sense to me, but is only a theory and is actualy complete 100% speculation.

we are all presuming that there will be money there to pay out - no one has considered that should greece go the euro and the cheque in the post will go with it
