    Content: HUGE RED TEXT

    What's worse is I graduated over the summer and I got that email!
    If you don't know what I'm talking about, check your student emails for one with obnoxiously large red text.

    I have now received 4 emails with HUGE RED TEXT in the space of 15 minutes.

    A few years ago they made sending to the all students mailing list more restrictive so that you weren't bombarded by pointless emails like these!

    Yeah, I'll set a new inbox rule:

    When a message arrives and it was received from: First.Seven.Weeks@ul.ie
    Do the following: Redirect the message to First.Seven.Weeks@ul.ie

    The point is you shouldn't have to setup email filters to remove emails from those who don't understand email etiquette.

    When a message arrives and it was received from: First.Seven.Weeks@ul.ie
    Do the following:
    1. Redirect the message to First.Seven.Weeks@ul.ie
    2. Forward the message to First.Seven.Weeks@ul.ie
    3. Forward the message as an atachment to First.Seven.Weeks@ul.ie
    4. Delete the message

    You could always click "Send a text message to" for good measure.

    how can you send such 4 of the same emails to everybody?


    After straining my eyes and reading some of those emails, 2 are the exact same and they actually contained links.

    Their facebook group is here http://www.facebook.com/first7weeks (it was in the email (Also no large red text there... yet)). I think everyone who didn't like the red font either drop into the hub or post on that facebook page (in large red text of course).

    Print off a few copies and send them to "The Hub"...which sounds like a very exciting place....

    am sick of these also, what is worse when you use magnification software one word fills up the whole screen.

    Haha, I use inverted colours so it comes up as HUGE white writing. :P

    Instead of sending it from first seven weeks, Vicky Kelly is sending them and cc'ing first seven weeks. I think they coped onto that strategy

    eg. please participate in the Shannon learning styles quiz!
    I did the first day and they are still emailing me about it! It gets really irritating ><

    That's true of all those style emails though, start of every semester you're guaranteed to get about 10 mails about "The Fantastic Rates at the UL Arena!!!" and about 20 to do with the Presidents Volunteer Awards.
