Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi lads and Lassies,

Heading off to London for a few days R&R in October. I want to pick up a Specialized Romin Saddle and a few bits and bobs. Just wondering can anyone recommend some good bike shops over there.

From my experience any business can make a website look **** hot but when you arrive you are greeted by a bog standard bike shop (Not meant to be arrogant). I am just looking for a decent shop with a big range of products.

Hope ye can think of some places.

    Thanks a mill
    Bar

Evans would be the obvious one. Specialized stockists & a large number of stores in London, some bigger than others, but all with a decent range of stock. The branch in Spitalfields has a big selection of stuff & there's a branch of Cyclesurgery nearby if you need to try somewhere else. Condor cycles on Grays Inn road is another good one, though not sure if they're Spesh stockists.

I am very fond of On Your Bike near London Bridge. Superb independent bike shop

Just around the corner is an Evans too.

(And just further around the corner is the Borough Market as well as the best coffee in London at Monmouth Coffee..The food market on Thurs-Sat is brilliant)

Bit of a travel out of town, but Sigma Sport are a Specialized concept store out in Kingston....http://www.sigmasport.co.uk/

    Have a good trip!:)

You may not buy anything but to see a bike shop like no other you must visit sigma sport Hampton Wick near Kingston!!

An amazing new version of their small, old beauty. The newer shop with all the bike bling you could ever dream of.
No comparison to any other shop you can name I reckon.

Evans is a run of the mill shop whichever one you go to...

If you happen to be in the westend area pop in here http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fitzrovia-Bicycles/143884815656733
Alex, Will and Tom are three of the nicest guys you will ever meet and love their bikes, probably won't have what you're looking for but if you're in the area pop in for a chat but be prepared for skinny jeans and floppy hair!
They may have some nice NOS stuff if you happen to be into that kind of thing.
