Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello

    I have recently competed a build on a scott addict R2 bike.

    I feel it deserves mention here due to the long hours I spend sorcing components on ebay.

    Indeed without ebay I would have never completed the build.

    The build started in march and only finished Late august,

    you could say a labour of love. It is something I wanted to do, since I have started Cycling(2006). To build a bike and to also own a scott.

    It really is cheaper and rewarding to build your own bike. Id recommend to all to go build your own.

    I would especially like to thank all the bordsies members who helped in any way especially with the difficult installation of sram red shifter cables, sram rear derailleur adjustment.

    <snip>
    regards

    Ordinarily I'm not a fan of red but that is a beautiful looking bike. Well don and happy riding (if you can bear to take it on the road!)

    Absolutely stunning bike, mate.
    Just looking at my old wonky Trek and feeling VERY jealous.

    Nice. You could post it, along with any other bikes you may have, in this thread.
