Thought this week's was awful.. not even Broyles could save it!

Fell asleep near the end.. not good!

It too was disappointed by this week's episode.

Not enough of the Gang to carry off the episode. I did think Shady Nastys was funny and Lance Riddick's stock has only gone up, in my opinion.

Bring on the McPoyles and Rickety Cricket!

Some funny bits, but overall not a great episode. Shadynasty is a great name.

Watching it now and I nearly spat a mouthful of tea when Frank appeared with his wig and playing a 19 year old.

Poor Jon Polito looks awful though good to see that his cancer is behind him. He was given six months to live not too long ago but is now in remission.

Pretty weak episode it must be said, one of the shows low points. The gang are sorely missed though it's a very poor script that's at fault as the idea of a younger Frank is great in theory.

It was a great premise but just went nowhere. It could have been fleshed out a whole lot more over 2 episodes and had the gang playing characters from Frank's past. Hopefully Jon Polito will be in a few more episodes as he's one of the most underrated actors around.

I love it when the dark side of Dennis comes out, it's ****ing hilarious! Especially the ''implication'' scene from the Yacht episode. No matter how many times I watch it I still laugh.

Just on last week's episode now. Usually I find "creepy womanising" characters really annoying but with Dennis it's always excellent. Deadly seeing him not able to talk to a woman properly :pac:

That whole scene was genius! Watching it again you'd swear they were ad libbing it! Charlie is trying his best not to break his hole laughing!

Dennis & Charlie are comedy gold together!:D

It was pretty good ep tonight but the "reveal" wasnt much of a reveal. It was obvious where they were going.
Mac and Charlie in the van though were brilliant. There was one scene where Mac was doing his best not to laugh. He ended up shoving chips in his mouth to hold it back.

It wasnt bad but not great either. Not enough Charlie for me and the Mac/Charlie dynamic cannot be beaten, of which there was none.

Just finished season 4 last night.

The Nightman Cometh... Classic Episode!

Purchased season 1 on dvd a couple months ago and I've never gone through a series as fast. Nice knowing there's 3 more seasons to get through.

Brilliant. That and "The Gang Buys a Boat" from season 6 are the two best episodes of the show.

Overall it was a pretty flat season. I was hoping for a lot more. Mac constantly saying "I've tacked on mass" and Ronald McDonald were the high points for me.

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but this is one of those shows I missed out on and am catching up on Netflix.
Have to say it's one of the funniest series I've come across.
Bit annoyed about some of the stuff that gets too cartoonish and how it affects continuity.
Just finished the one ending with Russian Roulette. Haven't seen the next episode yet but if they just brush that aside it'll be a bit much. I like things to have some realism.
Otherwise it's bloody funny stuff- really well observed dynamics between characters and kind of a commentary on the absurdity/venality of why people do things in general (political office episode in series two for example).
