I'm going to buck the trend of smart-arsed replies and recommend archery in Glenlo Abbey. I went there a few years ago with a gang from work and had a good laugh.

Anything where you can learn-discover-make something for/in a couple of hours [I know it is a sports & social club but...] --> cookery class or food/wine tasting, pottery/painting or other arts & crafts class, music playing, (salsa/belly) dancing or any routine ('Thriller' or other Bollywoodtongue.gif)...

...murder mystery, snooker, climbing Croagh Patrick, karaoke, knitting:o, archery, juggling, golf, fencing....

    blah

Thanks for (real suggestions) but we did cookery class, Croagh Patrick, wine tasting, pottery.
Salsa & some drinks could be a good idea.

Concert ( classical, choral, etc ... ie not your regular sort of gig)

Didn't someone on here say they'd just started a jewellery party business?

depending on your workplace ... Anne Summers party. :p

Orienteering (do they have it here? quite different, certainly)
