I was actually lying in bed last night thinking along the lines of "another day on this massive ball of rock and gas" and got to thinking about things in life and their importance. I've got a huge hobby in the form of video games that I spend alot of time on, when I can, I've got a good job with career prospects, but what on my deathbed will I be glad I did, and I have to say, it'll be "having kids".

My daughter is just over 1 and she's a handful. She's stubborn, willful and terribly spoilt by her grandparents but I still think she'll be my greatest achievement. I don't believe in the stuff about handing our kids a dying world, thats what we got handed and any life is better than none. I'm really looking forward to seeing what my kids are capable of.

Do many men want kids? I've been told loads of times that they often just go along with it.

This is the greatest lie ever sold. Mostly I have to say its perpetuated by militant feminists (note, militant)

Its an emotional lie which allows women to sleep at night while they get almost 100% preferential treatment in the courts.

    Dont. Even. Start. Me.

I spent most of my childhood and teens thinking I would hate to have children. I was looking at my aunt with her high paid UN job, traveling, eating in top restaurants etc and I wanted her life.

When i was 17 my mum gave birth to the most perfect human on the planet and I fell head over heels in love with my little sister. People thought she was my daughter coz I took her everywhere, spent all my money on her and loved her so much I thought my heart would burst. I decided then that being a mum was why I was on this planet.

Just over 3 years later I had my first son and the overwhelming joy love and affection i felt by far outweighed the restrictions on my life. My 2nd son doubled the love. I have since divorced their dad, lost my job and am struggling to raise 2 teenagers on very little money with no help from their dad BUT I wouldn't change it for the world. It was my birthday yesterday and I had some friends over Fri. When I got up yesterday my boys had cleaned up after the party and spent the day spoiling me with love and affection.

I am the luckiest person on the planet. I pity my aunt.

Did you ever think that your aunt may pity you.

Most kids that I know haven't been planned but have never been regretted
F*ck tests like that, or personality types, the most natural thing in the world is to have a ride and kids are a result and if the cavemen could do it then maybe 21st century soft fools like us could manage it

    I told you it's not mine :D

I would tell you my result but then Im not on okcupid ¬_¬

I don't need a test to tell me I don't want kids, I 100% don't want them, if I had a great life up to this point then maybe I would feel like I want them but now I'm far too selfish, life is short and I'm not gona give up the rest of it for kids.

Big time, men want children just as much as a woman does, they have the same procreative urges.

I never did, I always felt I was to selfish to have kids. But then a crop of 5 nephs and nieces all came with-in the space of 6 months.

To my shock I found myself getting very broody, I always thought only women feel that emotion.
