The Pro Chrony digital is a good option @€;100. Feet or meters per second. I put clear plastic over the windows and is now rainproof (ish). I've seen one of the Chrony F1 go belly-up in the rain.

    Details:
•Store 9 shot strings with up to 99 shots each in power down memory.
•Review each velocity and shot string data which includes average velocity, standard deviation, and extreme spread.
•Delete an individual shot or entire string with the touch of a button.
•Connect to the data port for remote capability with optional accessories.
•Customize your system with optional accessories. Only pay for the features you need.
•Quality Electronics, years of refinement yield a sensing design that is compatible with a wide variety of loads and light conditions.

I also have the PC conection cable to view, change, read and print out to Excel the results from my laptop.

    Features:
•Use Multiple Chronographs with One PC - This is useful if two chronographs are being used to measure the same projectile in order to validate the results.
•Last Velocity Large Display - Create a large size display of the velocity readout and the power factor on your computer screen. The size is adjustable to suit the desired viewing distance. Great for showing the results to a group of onlookers.
•Multi-Function Control Panel - Control all of the chrono functions, read a list of velocities from each shot string and the associated statistics, and print a report. You can also input information for calculating the ammo. power factor and foot/lbs.
•Export Data - Send information to your spreadsheet program in several file formats.
•On Screen Graph Of Velocity Strings - Create a graph using data from a shot string. Save or print it for later reference.
•USB Port Connection - Uses the computer USB port for a wired connection to the Pro Chrono Digital.

I'd recommend the Chrony F1. I have this and its perfect. There are better models/makes, but the price climbs somewhat steeply going up to £400 or so for some makes.

    The Chrony F1 measures in feet per second, and this model;
    !By+On)!EGk~$(KGrHqEOKkME)LVN6KC(BMUDcYLblg~~_12.JPG

Comes with a reader that can be placed on the table to save you straining to see the screen on the unit itself. Accessories include printer, BC, etc but these are extras, and bought seperately.

Expect to pay about £100 for the standard model, £150 for the one above rising to £250 for the top of the line one with all accessories.

Also whatever you go for make sure it measures up to 7,000fps, as some are only rated for Archery or air rifle, and that irt measures in fps as some are made in metres per second and cannot be switched to fps.
