Experemental workshop on culture night

Hi all

As part of culture night on the 23rd I've volunteered to run experimental audio mini workshops at Exchange Dublin arts center.

Now I the date looms I find myself looking to expand my instrument collection with the addition of a theremin. Yes I know I know but I've been looking for an excuse for oh so long now to finally go get one.

Well now I'm back in the same position I've been many times before over the years drooling over those shiny MOOG's on thomann wishing they were in a more obtainable price range.

Anyone know of a good place that wont cost me a fortune? Checked out adverts and B/S but I'm all out of luck.

Any stores that carry second hand gear around Dublin?

Hmm hmm hmmm there must be a better way.

Thanks Moritz for the link but that's a tad too far away to order now. I'll post full details on the event to the main forum once I have all the details sorted out.

Was just into music maker today poking around and noticed they have Moog Etherwave (std) up on the first floor for €400... Just wish I had the cash.

Back again with the final details about culture night.

Ok I'm going to be setting up my kit somewhere in Exchange Dublin and conducting an experimental audio workshop. During the evening people will be invited to play around but on the hour every hour for about 10-15 minutes we will try to do a collective piece.

Software on laptops
- AmSynth (Open source Soft Synth)
- Alsa Modular Synth (Open source Soft Synth)
- Reason 5

Hardware
- Yamaha 24c desk
- AKAI MPK61 for Reason
- M-Audio Keystation 49 for open source synth's.
- Various mic's condenser and contact to name but a few.
- Misc things to be rigged up such as piping and other household items.
- Am radios
- Various musical toys.
- NintendoDSi with a few apps.

If you have nothing to do drop down and play around.
