Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've been learning to work with colour in Photoshop so I was trying out a few things on an old photo I took of a scene around sunset time a couple of months ago.

    So here's the original:
    DB7E7A8F94A145E290BC177CAFBD1702-0000321471-0002546709-00800L-07BF4C00584B46808FFA3C41DDCDA853.jpg

    Here's colour 1:
    16B6081A2DDC43469BDD49834D062636-0000321471-0002546707-00800L-B9DB931B07D54E84888874FAB862D64E.jpg

    and here's colour 2:
    00926592D5FC49C29563CCCA1D66D44A-0000321471-0002546708-00800L-8C34ABB7BDC147EE90AD24CC2D488E6D.jpg

So would just like to know what do you think of the colours in the two pics and which one you think is better and if any comments, critics or tips you'ld like to give me on colour correction/enhancement...

    Thanks! :)

Hello, 2nd one is better IMO. I think the lampposts distract though.

x2 .. the lamps kinda ruin it for me. i like both colour corrections, but second one is better.

My eyes were only drawn to the middle lamp post as it doesn't look straight.

Would they be less distracting if you straightened them up?

Still new to photoshop to gotta figure out how to straighten pics, know how to do it in lightroom though... I might try out a couple more pics I have of sunset time with this colour correction and post it here. The lamp posts are quite distracting... It was just I was driving along one day and the sky and that church looked really pretty so I stopped to take a picture.

    Thanks for the advice...

I think colour#1 has a nice warm tone about it and seems to have a relaxing feel to it somehow, but I personally think the glare of the lamp (headlight maybe?) is too strong and could do with being less stark. It became the focus of the image for me as much as I tried to ignore it. Well done :)
