Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

Looking for an opinion on the following - last week took my 07 Golf to a garage to have a gearbox issue corrected - the issue has been corrected - as part of accessing the gearbox, the garage told me that they had to disconnect the battery and reconnect - now the electric windows, mirrors and central locking are not working - so a diagnostic program was run and now the garage is saying that the "door module" is knackered and needs to be replaced

Cost of the door module (part and fitting plus Vat) is €520 approx but the garage will goes halves on it given how the problem arose

Does the above sound reasonable in terms of how the problem arose and the cost of the door module???
