Mahogany hair dye

Has anyone ever dyed their hair this colour using a home dye kit? What were the results like? I've been looking at the L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss in Mahogany and it looks really nice, but I'm wondering if it would fade to ginger? Any advice is appreciated!

It depends on what colour your hair currently is. Is your hair brown or blonde?

i used it,(i have brown hair at the moment). it was really nice but subtle. my hair has just gone back brown though.
