Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all

Im just wondering is there one English course that is better than another for the CV for someone who is not a native speaker to show proficiency?

Is a FETAC accredited English course the best one to do, would this be recognised around the world for getting jobs etc?

I am a native English speaker myself but just enquiring to see if there were adults or teenagers coming across from another country to learn English, is there a specific course that would be best for them to bring back to their own country and for future employment.

  • The Cambridge English exams are probably the best option. You can do the First Certificate (FCE) at Upper Intermediate level (B2)and then the CAE and CPE at more advanced levels (C1 and C2). These are internationally recognised and respected. Most people would need to take an exams skills course for a few months to learn the technique. Most decent language schools offer classes for FCE and many offer CAE and CPE as well.
