Anyone know where to get cheap wellies? Cheapest ones I could find are 18 in Dunnes. Only using them for 1 weekend so a cheap pair would be dead handy.

    Cheers.

Anyone got any recommendations on where to get a custom made framed mirror in Galway? Google is showing Cregal Art, The Framing Studio in Liosban and Andy's Glass in Athenry. Any positive/negative experiences with any of these or any alternative suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Plumbing supplies section in B&Q was where i last got a washer set for this kinda thing, but imagine McDonaghs for one would be able to help you.

Also you could try DPL on the Dublin road, they're a builders suppliers but they have kitchen and bathroom fixtures on display, aswell as a big Novelty Tap hanging out of the building worth a look! :)

    Didn't think of DPL, cheers.

So far I have on the list: T O Higgins, McDonogh, DPL ... i'd say one of them will have it

Any idea where I could get a SIM card adapter? Don't want to bring the smart phone to EP

Electronic Partner sells a set of 2 for 4 euro or so. So try phone shops first, I got a free one in the o2 shop.

Does" €10ish max" mean your only going to pay €10 to move your house contents?

Ten euro to drive to your house, load the van or wait around for you to do it, drive 4km to next house and unload or wait. For you to do it and drive home again? Have fun finding that one

Anyone know where I can get some methylamine in galway?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 31,117 ✭✭✭✭snubbleste

Qualification: By quick house move, I meant about eight rubbish bags worth of stuff. T'would fit in the back seat of a car.
I assumed everyone was as lightweight as the requester :D

Anyway I think I found one...and it is a hackney company

Thanks. Ended up getting one in Argos this eve. Tried woodies, B&Q and rang a few people from adverts. Anyway, think I got the best deal in Argos. Thanks

Sure you found one there :) I have no help for you, one of the bathroom or tiling places maybe, they always do tap related things, don't they? Or perhaps B&Q in Knocknacarra, with the size of the shop they're bound to have a tap section!

    B&Q have one that's fairly similar http://www.diy.com/nav/rooms/kitchens/kitchen-taps/bridge_taps/-specificproducttype-2_tap_hole_taps/Cooke-and-Lewis-Chambley-Bridge-Mixer-Chrome-Finish-12097515?skuId=12628221
I bought my kitchen mixer set from Comer Granite & Marble and I'm pretty certain they had taps like yours available in their showroom.
