I'll see what they have in argos. Was aiming for like a tenner. build quality seems no better in 20-30 range, I've found anyway with ones I've had.

Yeah won't be much difference in that price range.

Think I saw some proper umbrellas inside the door of Anthony Ryans yesterday

Yeah won't be much difference in that price range.

Saw ones for about €12 that are decent enough in Cunniffe's (Galway SC).

Happy enough with them. They fit perfectly too, which can be a prob for me with the cheaper ones.

    Hi,

Does anyone know of any music shops around the City or surrounds that would sell second hand accordions?

    Thanks

I think I saw one in the cash convertors place on Mary Street a couple of months ago.

You could try Opus II on High Street between Sonnys/Murphys, or Signet on William Street West beside the Blue Note, or an Gaelearai Beag on Flood Street. Both of their contact details are on www.facebook.com/antiques.galway.

Can anyone recommend a Santy for today? Don't know about standing in the queue in market in this weather.

Actually does anyone know what time the post office closes today?

The thread you posted in is more of a "where?" than "what?" thread. Unless your TV is already fitted with for USB a HD box is probably the easier solution.
Or an adapter to record tv onto your laptop (and from there to USB).

The only place I could get an original remote for a T.V. was online at http://www.espares.co.uk.Universal remotes are ok but there is usually some menu they wont work properly.

    Looking for two things:
    Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
    Sailor_Jerry_1_296043.jpg

    Old Jamican Ginger Beer
    OldJam_GingBeer_250ml.jpg

Together, over ice, they form the most delicous drink

Can't seem to find either in Galway though

You can just buy Morgans it doesn't taste much different, although Tesco definitely sell Sailor Jerry.

You can buy bottles of that ginger beer in the Daybreak across from Monroes.

Ok the entire family have nearly drank all the milk and its only three o clock.. Is centra or dunnes in briarhill open today? Before i venture out in the cold

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,878 ✭✭✭✭Mrs OBumble

    Dunnes isn't open.

Some of the convenience shops in town are open until 5pm.

Texaco on the docks and on the Headford Rd are usually open, too.
