help - i've lost my licences to play wmp files on my laptop

I knew my laptop was going to die so i backed everything up onto an external hard drive including my entire music library but either failed to transfer the protection license or later deleted it. Now i can't play any of the cd's i burned onto my laptop, i know i could just go and burn them all again but that would take…
