I have a CCTV system that I want to make some changes to without having to go to any major expense.

I have 3 cameras attached to NORTEK VS64 box and a coax bnc connection to a cassette recorder with a monitor fitted.

I would like to get rid of the monitor and cassette recorder and connect the cameras to my PC. Is it as simple as buying a video card with BNC connectors and away you go ?

    Thanks.

You could use a pci dvr card to do this. A dedicated DVR would be the better option.

Dvr cards can be hit and miss and there's a lot of fakes around.
