How hard would it be for someone who got an a1 in ordinary level maths to repeat and do higher level and get a c3?

It's hard to get a C3 in even two years!

Take how hard you think it'll be, multiply that by lots and you'll be closer to your answer. :(

Maybe try it for a while though and see how you do. :)

It'll take loads of your time up just to get a D3 though...

definitely doable. You've done the 2 year LC program with OL maths and got an A1 in your LC right? If you got A1 in OL maths you are someone who probably should have done HL maths anyway. What other distractions do you have during the year. Are you just going to do HL maths on its own through a grinds college or are you repeating your full LC?
