    Hi,

    Going to a wedding next friday in the Slieve Russell byt the price quoted is crazy considering we'll only be sleeping in the place!

    Can anyone recommend a nearby B&B that involves not much travel from the hotel and is cheap enough!!

    http://www.prospectbay.ie/ approx 10 / 15 min drive from the russell so dont book it if your looking for somewhere within walking distance but cabs are no problem to and from the hotel and are cheap . This place comes is highly recommended .

    the crannog right next door to the russell, 2 mins walk. Or cherry tree B&B. About 3 mins walk.

    I too would recommend Dungimmon House. I stayed there for a friends wedding in the Slieve Russell last April. It's approved, unlike many of the others and has a 4 star rating. Great value and is like a small hotel. ;)

    why not just crash in sean quinns mansion next door.. sure he doesnt own the russell or his own gaff anymore, nobody to throw ye out.. win win.
