    Basically as the title suggests, I am wondering if anybody can tell me the coordinates of the centre point of the Irish National Grid.

    Many Thanks.

    The co-ordinates of the true origin of the ING are:
    200,000 E
    250,000 N

    Should there not be four co-ordinates? I'm looking for the same thing.
    "..use the four coordinates of the centre point of the Irish National Grid."

    Can't seem to find it anywhere..

    Nope, two coordinates (an easting and a westing) define any point in 2D.

    the grid can only have 1 centre point.
    What is the rest of the problem/question? might be able to help.

    OK I have found the answer.

    The centrepoint of the Irish National Grid, with respect to the Irish Transverse Mercator coordinate system, is 53*30'N, 8*W: A point on Lough Ree near the western shore.

    * represents degrees.
