    Hi,

Im looking for a dog training class for a 12 week old boxer pup. I would like her to be taught basic commands and toilet training if possible. Im based in south dublin so would be ideal if it was in that area.

    Any feedback welcome :)

Not sure about toilet training, but the DSPCA do one, called King of Paws, and they cover the basics for puppies: sit, stay, etc I think. Haven't used them but hear good things from friends who have :) You'll find the link on the DSPCA website.

Cannot recommend you a trainer but can recommend you a great book -

If you feel like venturing northside then I couldn't recommend Dublin Dog Training enough. John has over 30 years experience and runs puppy classes during the week www.dublindogtraining.com I've done basic classes and agility classes with him

On the southside there's Working Trials Club, they run puppy classes on sundays too www.wtci.ie. They're in Tymon Park in Tallaght

I took my dog to classes in Tallaght and the same lady runs (or at least used to) classes in Bray. Couldn't recommend her highly enough. PM me if you want details.

I can highly recommend Emmaline's classes on the Long Mile Road, her site is www.citizencanineireland.com
All reward-based training with a highly experienced and qualified trainer!

Dublin Dog training would be best.

Dog training Ireland is also good if your looking for the basics.

OP don't you know you can't post about a new puppy here without providing pics for us all? :pac: :pac: Since she's only 12 weeks so you'd want more of a puppy socialization class then an obedience class. We did them in our local vets which were pretty good but having done different obedience classes at dog training ireland and from my guy going to daycare there I know where we'll be going for puppy classes if we ever getting a puppy!
