    Hey guys,

Picked up some wasabi while I was out shopping as I always get it when I'm in a sushi restaurant, just wondering is there any simple enough recipes that I could use it with at home?

    Thanks.

As i am sure you know it is very potent, so would use in small doses, i would just make a dressing with it that can be used for a varienty of uses.

    with fish

    with chicken (even chicken salad)

    as a salad dressing

strangely enough its really nice with bacon sandwishes.

    Wasabi dressing

    based on 1 litre

1 small jar of dijon mustard

3 ts of white wine vinegar

    3 ts of honey

    small amount of fresh corriander

    small amount of fresh mint

    2 garlic cloves

1 small standard size natural yoghurt

    salt/pepper

    4 lrg ts of wasabi

    3/4 ltr of olive oil

in a dense pot put togeather the

everything apart from the oil and yoghurt

blend until smooth and add a little warm water if more moisture is needed.

when all is smooth with one hand keeping blending (handheld blenders are best)

add the olive oil slowly untill sauce begins to emulcify.

when all oil is in you should have what looks like a light mayonaise

now fold in the youghurt using a spoon to mix it into the sauce

    season with salat and pepper.

leave for one day to let flavours entwine.
