Just found this, a full 3hr gig from Feb this year.

Axl's voice, IMO his 1 main feature, IS SHOT TO FCUK!!
When you say his one main feature, what others should we be looking out for? His rugged good looks, his undeniable ability to play tambourine?

His voice is the only feature he possesses and as you said... It's shot!

Dublin band 'Vengeance and the Panther Queen' have been added to the O2 bill, never heard of them, looked them up on youtube and found this

WTF are MCD playing at? Hoping to get a few hundred extra tickets sold??

If this song is anythin to go by then they're gonna go down like a fart in an Astronaut suit

What a stinker, I could only manage about a minute and a half of that before stopping it. Terrible. I can't see a GNR crowd liking the sound of this....

Two support bands, 30 mins each with probably another 30 between each of the sets. Looks like they're preparing for a late start by Axl

Mcd also gave a former page 3 model / xpose presenter Amanda brunker a 30 minute slot at oxygen

Just listened to some of that gig, WOW Axl has lost it, that is horrible, Myles Kennedy now officially does a better Axl. That is shockingly bad lol

I've seen tribute acts doing a better job than Axl.

Why cant Thin Lizzy just do a full set This could be some balls of a gig. only 2 weeks left though :D:D.

Popcorns sales in the o2 could be huge :D:D

That singers voice is as annoying as hell.

As for Axl, he had throath issues earlier this year which is why he was sounding a bit crap. As far as I know, it was getting better towards the end of the US shows so hopefully the few weeks off have helped.

Yes. They've set a release date of July 2023, although its generally acknowledged that it may be delayed...

That sounds like an excuse. Much like the idea that its not fair that the current band have only had one chance at writing some new material & that they should be given at least a couple of goes to produce anything worthwhile...

    anything on a new album?

In this interview Richard Fortus says:
I’ll be out with Guns in May, June and July and then we have to finish up some more recording and hopefully get the record out and be on tour in the fall in the States I’m hoping.

Just what I heard. Seems everyone accepted that he was having trouble with his troath at the time but he kept going anyway to avoid having to cancel any shows.

    Axl putting the fans first?

    Axl putting the fans first?

Hell no. Money is more important to Axl.

I'd say it's more because he is older now and realises he wont get away with just canceling shows because he doesnt like performing. If this was 1991 or 1992, he'd have just canceled the lot of them and not be seen for months. He knows he cant get away with that anymore so went ahead with them. He still has his moments as we know all too well, but overall they are much rarer these days.

He should be told to f**k off if he has one of his "moments".

Amazing Block E seats are still avaible for GNR on may 17th in the o2.

I say the attendence would be similar to kiss in 2010 no way as big as the gnr gig in 2010.

Last I checked standing tickets were still available for the upcoming gig in the O2?

    Yes. When Hell freezes over.

You heard of a band called the Eagles, yes?

Yes I have. And I wasn't calling the next GnR album by that name, I was stating that hell will freeze over before that album comes out.

    LOL axl can't sing anymore

I really hope we get something very similar to that.

If it's included in the set list I'd imagine it was sung, or at least played.

I don't care what time within reason he shows ups I just want no walk offs and standing there for half an hour not knowing what to do. That's it. Last time ya I got a full gig but the fact that all the other **** took the gloss off the whole thing.

Well you obviously didn't learn much from your previous experience...
