Really hope I see them sometime over the next few years.

Axl sounds about 70% in the clips I've watched possibly the sound quality of the vids or the pain killers he may be on May be affecting his voice.

One question does the echo thing in Axl's mic give us a fake impression of his actual vocals ???

I'm paranoid that may be using recordings of the loud vocal bits on jungle or Axl's vocals has improved a ton from last time

This gig and the Troubadour gig are the best Axl has sounded in years.

His uses an echo affect on certain parts of the songs but everything else is 100% Axl.

Agree, but how has the lack of movement helped him in this, from the small Troubador stage to a Grohl Throne.

He gets to keep his breath and really concentrate on the vocals I read here that the infamous show in the o2 was one of his best vocal as he was sulking and stayed in the one spot.

Did anyone sign up to that Nighttrain membership? I see now that they have added a hoodie along with the shirt for the membership. Also shipping now seems to be free. I suppose you would get stung by customs/VAT though?

Try too keep this short!! Am still pretty speechless after all that, still going over it all in my head, took to the stage pretty late at 12 midnight but played non stop til 2.25!! if anyone has a opportunity to see them now DO IT, absolutely awesome. Sound was excellent, great clarity between the instruments, Duffs bass work really shone and he really worked the stage and fans well, and slash was his excellent self, fortus came across great too. Axl was fantastic, his voice on estranged really stood out for me but overall he was really really good. The throne setup meant he was restricted in movement, still managed 4 costume changes hopping off stage to be wheeled back in by a 'nurse' in skimpy clothing!!
Not too much interaction between the main men, I think Axl was looking around a bit thinking why the he'll have we left it do late, but he was well happy. Indoor set up with screens and effects was very cool, not sure how it would translate to the likes of slane during day but I'll be there if they come. Would have been worth double the ticket price to see Coma alone amazing performance of the song!!

From reading comments from fans who attended both nights it seems the second night was even better!

I went last night and it was absolutely fantastic. I thought Axl sounded great, he killed some of the notes. Slash is just hypnotising sometimes when you watch him play. Easily one of the best concerts I've been too.
Already looking into heading to San Diego to see them.
