Grants for start up business

    Hi, Probably a question that has been asked a million times but is there grants available from local enterprise boards or the govt or eu to start up a new business. The venture I am looking at is in retail.
    I was in with the Dublin City Enterprise board but in the initial consultation, he said there was no grants available anymore but I found this page on their website.

    Is this old page or anyone know why they said no but have this on web?

    Any help or advice is much appreciated!!

    Its a business in the retail industry, offering services, like hairdressers etc.
    You know anything or just being nosey? :D

    No grants for service companies afaik.
