Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Picked up some batteries in Tesco Roscomon cheers.

No hp usb drives only 8gb ones and no hp sdcards.

As I arrived the manager was on the phone to head office asking about the batteries :D

The rechargeables were there but scanning at €14

The guy in front of me at the checkout had about 150 of the GU10 lightbulbs mentioned earlier so I reckon they're gone.

If anyone sees any tv brackets clearing please let us know I scanned 4-5 of them last night but no clearance.

Technika brackets for 19-22" limited rotation, and a decent looking VESA 200*100 corner swivel arm for up to 32" were the only ones I noticed...about 4 and 12 quid respectively. This was in Longwalk, Dundalk

Just back from Tesco Ashbourne. About 8 16gb keys left marked at €19.99 but scan at €7.99.

Duracell rechargeable batteries scanning at full price so plenty left :D.

    No 4 + 4 free Duracell.

No 4gb micro sd cards. (Well theres one on the shelf but some fu**er took the micro sd card out of it and left the adapter and packaging)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,281 ✭✭✭Ricky91t

Thanks OP Picked up 2 memory sticks, one for me and one for a friend :D

The memory sticks weren't marked down but had an orange sticker on the price label, maybe this is how tesco mark things that require a new label? :)

    Thanks Jarvis,

I located two 16GB flash drives in Athlone. They were marked at €39.99 but when I scanned them they were just €7.99. Both both. They will be great Christmas presents.

I also got six packs of AAA batteries for 56c each. There were no more batteries on the shelf this evening.

Also both some Tehnika Neckband Sports Headphones. These were just €1.30, reduced from over €12. They were not reduced on the shelf but scanned at the lower price.

Also Technika Headband Headphones for €1.14. Not sure how much these were originally. Again the reduced price was not displayed on the shelf.

I found the headphones by checking what was showing cheap online in my local store before I headed there and then price checking them in store.

did they have any micro sd cards. could do with one for my phone.

Manager in Tesco Clonmel would only let me have two packs of the 56c batteries then cleared them off the shelf and took the price tag off.
i picked up a braun 320 3 series shaver though for only €10. Marked on the shelf. 2 left afaik. its €130 in the current argos catalogue.

There is no scanner in Ardkeen as it was ripped off the wall by a lovely child one night.
Though I'd say 99.9% of prices are up to date, unless someone has left a prodcut in the wrong place.

There are 3 in Ballybeg, Card aisle, clothing and minerals (I think).

    In poleberry its by toys.

There was one in Lisduggan near the cards not sure if it still works.

In Tramore its in the DVD aisle and the mineral aisle.

Thanks OP. Got two of the 4GB SD cards (last two) in Tesco Mitchelstown.

The batteries were cleared out... just an empty space in the display area where they used to be :(

If anyone is interested in stocking up on BBQ stuff for next year... the disposable BBQs are €0.95 and 5kg bags of charcoal are €2.

No clearance TVs in Tesco Mitchelstown.

was in the new Tesco Naas today, spent 2 and a half hours there.
used coupons from the coupon thread and saved money there.

but spent a lot of time looking for all of the above.
was constantly scanning batteries, took a while before the 56 cent packs turned up.
some of the same packs actually scanned at the normal shelf price.
so got 8 aa packs and 3 aaa packs at the 56c price.
there are many many packs of aaa left, as for the aa, there are none that scan at 56c left.
the aaa batteries are at the tills closest to the self service checkouts in the new naas.

scanned loads of the rechargable batteries, including the ones in the pic at the start and they were scanning at the original price. so got none.
did not see any reduced prices on the shelves.

noticed staff going crazy around the grooming section, they were taking products for themselves.
managed to get a remington steel razor for 4.99 and a babyliss hair straightener for 2.60, confused, razor and hair straightener.

if you are buying toys, from tesco dont just yet,
their better than half price sale on toys will begin in 2 weeks.

Where is the price scanner in new Naas extra store? Also how are peeps finding these prices to begin with?
