I want to switch from Vodafone to O2

I'm on bill pay at the moment with vodafone so how do I go about switching? I also need to unlock my nokia phone which vodafone locked. How do I go about getting it unlocked and does it cost any money?

Because I'm vodafone and most texts and calls I make will be to O2 phones. It'll save me hundreds of euro per year.
