I have a smoke alarm connected to mains. The query is that it gives out 2 quick beeps about 2-3 times a day. I changed the battery but no success.
At the moment it does not bother me as it is infrequent.
    Any solutions to this?

    Sounds like a battery fault
Check that you inserted it correctly
Might be best to insert new battery altogether
    Are your smoke alarms interlinked
If so replace all the battery's in all the detectors
Check that the mains power connection to the detectors is tightened
(some detectors have 230volt led to indicate mains power)
The detector is chirping for a reason
    Don't ignore it
Replace it if you can't sort it

Bring in an electrician and have it replaced.

Tear it off and flush it down the toilet, then the beeping should stop.
