Nudged him, it was the contact with the keeper that did the damage.

just out of interest you think it was a peno and red?

ddg is really not comfortable with coming out and claiming the ball when its lumped in. getting lost quite a lot

Initially i did, now i'm not so sure. He did appear to get a touch on it when it was sort of stuck between Chico's legs. I agree with the commentary, 50/50.

Playing really well and if keep the performance and sharpness for the 2nd half we will no doubt come home with 3 points in the bag.

Between the De Gea was lucky with that save and it was 50/50 with Hernandez and Woodgate, there's some comedy gold on here this evening.

I thought people were having a laugh when they would be complaining about the length of the grass at Stoke, but watching DDG take that last free out there and the grass does look very long compared to what you would see at the likes of OT, Anfield etc. Shouldn't make much of a difference to pro's though.

decent first half. great shot stopping from de gea but he looks unsure under the bombardment. in fairness though no keeper ever looks comfortable against stoke. up front we re a bit toothless though. would like to see welbeck for berbatov at some stage.

Like a virrrginnnn, touched for the very first timeeeeeee.

Good half, started a bit stuttery then played keep ball very well imo. Annoyed at Chicos injury and the peno/red card not given. De Gea is showing what he bought for. Need another goal as I will be behind the couch if we're 1-0 up with 10 minutes to go.

That run from Owen to take Shawcross out of the game for Nani's goal really shouldn't be overlooked. Superb.

Opta Joe striking gold yet again:
‎27 - Manchester United have opened the scoring in the 27th minute in each of their last three Premier League games versus Stoke. Quirk.

young seems to want to beat a man too many times. it happens quite a lot that he cuts inside and has a yard but then checks back onto his left.
