Maybe that's the reason they finish mid-table. Nevermind.

Ref cost United Unite - two penalties and one sending off Stoke should have had against them.

    Link to player ratings.

Stoke are a horrible club, with the majority of their squad filled with hatchet men and thugs, with a bunch of clowns supporting them that think because they have canned noise into the stadium that they're some sort of god like fans. I wonder where they were a few years ago when Stoke were barely getting 10,000 a week into the ground  Probably all too busy riding their mothers and sisters if the population of Stoke is anything to go by.

They get away with murder. Their strikers using players as springboards on set pieces, the likes of Huth punching and swiping at players week after week and getting away with it too. Players encouraged by their manager to play outside of the rules of the game to get results, although Shawcross was showed up for the coward he is after breaking Ramsey's leg.

They're doing well at the minute but it won't last. They make no money back on player sales, their chairman isn't going to bankroll them forever without making anything back, and I can't wait for the day they go down.

The Premier League was and will always be better off without them.

De Gea can't keep making mistakes or it will cost United dearly over the course of the season. He reminds me of Torres with his kind of timid attitude at times, sometimes football requires you to just be an arrogant kunt. He made a couple of decent saves but that doesn't afford you a mistake just because you did well beforehand. He was rooted to the line for the goal due to being muscled out of it in the first half and the ball was in the 6 yard box. It's evident he still has the body of a boy so if/when he fills out he will be much better in the air. Great shot stopper already but needs to develop and quickly. Someone like Neuer would have been hoovering up some of them corners today. Like I said though he is young and he'll slowly but surely come on!

Not at all fella, I can't see I was overjoyed with the potential £12m signing of a 30 year old on £60,000 a week wages.

My posts on the Sunderland thread will indicate that and I was delighted with the loan signing of Bendtner, a young and hungry striker with something to prove rather than someone who's motivations for joining us would have been questionable given the fact he rejected us two seasons previously.

    Balls I hate that.

Stoke were well worth their point.

United didn't control the ball enough today. Fletch and Ando didn't hold onto it well enough and Berba and Owen didn't do enough either.

Still, a point away to Stoke with five first choice players out is nothing to be sniffed at.

Only joking... I agree with most of what you said, only thing you didn't mention is they are managed by someone who seems like a right pr*ick.

If they keep picking up enough points to stay up comfortably how can you say they deserve to be relegated?

Tony Pulis is one of the best managers the premier league has ever seen. There, I said it. And I'll stick by it too.

Have to laugh at those pundits on ESPN crowing about what a great game of football it was .
There wasnt much "football" played in that match .
Poor display by Utd against a dogged and disciplined Stoke team .
Paint drying would have been more exciting than watching that match ,Utd were back to their poor away form of last season.

Stoke are a putrid team of hatchet men who are the laughing stock of Europe. They are of a bygone era and today was one of the few times where I was rooting for United in a game. Mediocrity and lack of talent shouldn't be rewarded yet it is lauded at Stoke, due to their energy, commitment, graft, hard work, toughness, durability, physicality and whatever synonym for being extremely limited you wish to use. Baffling.

Edit, I forgot dogged and disciplined. My bad.
