Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This year I have to do my first geographical investigation with my class. I have informed the principal in the school that I have zero experience on this element of the course but there are still big expectations of me here and I am getting very worried. I have just missed the inservice for it and I feel I am totally unprepared for this element. Can anyone send me to where there is an example of a completed field work online, so that I can be given some guidance. Thanking you

    Hi,

Have a look at this website.
    http://www.outdooreducation.ie/field-study-geography.htm?gclid=CKK00KaOxqsCFUMOfAod4hSn2Q

They have day courses and are designed for the LC Geographical Investigation. They do the fieldwork with the kids. I've heard that they are very good. As far as I know there is a similar facility at Glendalough.

Are your group fifth or sixth years?

Thank you, thats helpful. I believe the Principal(another geography teacher) has already selected the venue, but I am the one expected to help the students put all their material together.
Its a 6th year group, smallish group. Have 5th years too but not bringing them
