Looking for something above 100GB that portable and doesn't need a sperate power supply.

I've been using western digital my passport ones for years. I just get them off amazon cause it's the cheapest!

Have a look at the Tesco random deals thread in the main Bargain Alerts section. Seems some Tescos have a Seagate 1TB drive reduced to 12 euro. (is 1TB bigger than 100GB??)

Technically correct but the hard drive manufacturers use multiples of 1000 instead of 1024.

To get a .ie address you have to be an irish registered company for 6 months or longer and they have an office you can pick up stuff from.

Not really looking for things over 160GB

Just want something under that, thats portable.

So any bargains out there for a 160GB(or under)portable hard drive.

I got a pretty good deal with my western digital hard drive from Amazon. Though you should not be too picky with the available file system you can use as the cheaper ones do not have an array of choices. But if you are just looking for something to carry your files with while you are on the go, then this should do. File transfer rates are pretty good as well. But I am still waiting for the usb 3.0 version for hard drives to come out.
