Laptop freezes since i moved home

    Hey my laptop was always decent about 2 years old but was best in the shop when i got it. for some reason running programs and web browsers has gone very slow since i moved home but downloading programs such as utorrent go faster than i could ever imagine. any one out there can help me?

    Hi,

    You probably have a load of un-needed junk installed on your laptop, that came bundled with it.
    You should uninstall any programs you don't use, and scan for malware.

    Two programs that will help you are

    CCleaner (Direct Download Link)

    and

    Malwarebytes (Direct Download Link)

    Running CCleaner, will free up space on your laptop, and it can also uninstall programs that you don't want or use.

    Malwarebytes will scan your PC for malware infections, and clean them.

    Also worth checking if your AntiVirus is up to date, or hasn't expired.

    it sounds to me like your computer might have a virus
