Seeing people you used to fancy on Facebook

    Ever really surprised when you see people you used to fancy on facebook ?

    A couple of old school friends have just "friended" a girl I used to fancy n secondary (25 years ago). Back when I knew her, she was extremely cute (bearing in mind this was the late 80s). Possibly one of the cutest girls in school.

    However fast forward 25 years & her profile picture makes her look like Hyacinth Bucket. I can see that it's her in the eyes & she looks like a really pleasant woman (not girl), but holy crap, this is the picture she CHOSE ???

    I know some age better than others, but she looks as old as my mother !!!
