Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Saw that there is a new aa scheme on the journal and looks a good deal.The thing is i bought a pure bred non reg aa bull last year to do heifers and wondering will his progeny qualify.At the time all i wanted was that he was small so pedigree cert didnt bother me,but i know he is 100%.

    I think he has to be registered PB or you have to be using AA AI.

    Also that high premium price (I think it was an extra 40c/kg) was for a limited time of the year ie out of season, not peak cattle supply times. And that period can be bandied around by the factory the following year (ie if you plan your calving to coincide with finishing cattle 'off peak' one year,you could be fooked the next year if they change the criteria time.

    You also had to guarantee to supply a minimum of 50 animals per year. They have you by the balls really

    sure who's going to know? no one asks me have i papers for the bull when selling calves
