    Hi all,

The Photography Forum are currently in the middle of planning for the Boards Photobook 2011 - which is raising funds for the Santa Strike Force charity.

We're looking for some ideas to advertise it and help raise as much as possible for the charity, plus help raise the profile of what we are doing. It's the 3rd year of the photobook this year and we need to drum up a bit of interest. Launch expected to take place 3rd week of November.

We know that the launch will most likely be held in the Dublin Camera Club on Camden Street (very kind folk there). It is a relatively small venue, which in previous years has worked really well. The setup of the venue on the night includes wine/finger-food area and the usual launch speeches etc. We would love to gain a bit of publicity and get the event into the public press, so would be looking for ideas on how to make it something worth covering.. boosting its presence if you will!

The book is priced to include a set donation per purchase which goes to the Charity, but it would be great to have another way of raising more funds for the charity on the night - again, open to ideas.

There will be up to 100 people participating in the book this year (one photo per member) and we would love to get the word out there and make it a great event. How to do this - that is the question ;)

There is a discussion thread here for this year's book and here is last year's launch thread.. for those interested!

I really look forward to your suggestions :)

    Thank you,
    Cork_girl
