Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm applying for subbing work in schools as cannot get teaching post - is there a point in sending in letter to the deputy for subbing work into VEC schools??

The reason I ask is, does the VEC appoint someone for subbing work in the school or is the process to find a sub the responsibility of the principal/deputy?

    thanks

Schools usually organise their own subs, they have to at short notice. Maybe in a long term subbing situation where it's known a teacher will be out for a few months it will be advertised, so it's no harm dropping your CV into a local VEC school

^^ that's how I originally got hours in a VEC, and I am still there.
