Oh yes I forgot vets are breeding experts, how silly of me. OP your dog might be healthy now but that doesn't mean she isn't passing on diseases/problems onto the pups. By doing the health checks for her breed the chances of that are greatly reduced. That's what responsible breeders do.

Complete and utter bull**** as my vet himself phrased it last nite, he said she is a beautiful healthy dog ,well groomed and in great health. He saw nothing at all wrong with her having a litter of pups. And for ye smartasses the pups wont b ready for xmas! Can ye clever people not add? Thanks for the abuse, but my dog is well cared for and all pups will be chipped and ikc registered.

So while these puppies were forming inside your bitch, she was on antibiotics, and your vet knows for a fact that it will have no effect on the pups?

Yes, we can add, you first posted saying that your bitch tied the week before. So by my reckoning, pups will be born around the middle of November. You are such a responsible breeder that I doubt you will keep hold of them until they are at least 8 weeks old.

Your attitude is astounding, you have a well groomed dog, so she is suitable for breeding? Thats all it takes, to groom a dog? Also the fact that you think its such a big deal that the pups will be chipped and IKC registered? They have to be chipped to be IKC registered, is that yet another thing that you don't know? You haven't mentioned whether they will be wormed, vaccinated and well socialised, they are far more important.

Hmmm, wonder how much money the vet will make from a sick litter? No wonder he/she sees nothing wrong with you breeding from this poor dog.

Words fail me, they really do. OP it's clear that you really don't have a clue about breeding, you admitted that in a earlier post, yet now you think everything's perfectly ok.

How does you or your vet know what genetic problems your dog could be passing onto these pups?? If she hasnt been health scored!? I really want to know.

Everyone makes mistakes, you had the chance to rectify yours but you chose not too. God only knows why.

no abuse... just stating a fact :p

my dog is really healthy, lovely personality.... beautiful face.....IKC registered, well loved..... hhhhmmmmm all the good reasons to breed..... NOT... you should have educated yourself a litlle more before jumping in and breeding your dog....

YOU HAVE NOT HEALTH TESTED YOUR DOG..... so therefore another back yard breeder....

and as for your vet comments... not sure if i believe that one.... and if he did actaully say this... im shocked he should know better..

after the christmas rush... and and the selling (as im sure your not doing this for free) of puppies i just hope one of your puppies doesnt end up un DSPCA / shelter... once they are no longer wanted....

i fell sorry for your dog :o

PS dont swear at my posts again... just show your level of maturity

I'm closing this thread because whilst I may agree with certain sentiments I cannot allow such tones of some of these posts.
If a poster chooses not to take information/advice on board- that is, unfortuantely, their choice. It does not give anyone any right to make assumptions about the person, nor does it give the person themselves any right to be abusive back.
